This is our continuing discussion on phrases we often hear people say, and realize that they came straight from The Word of God. So, grab your pen and paper, here we go! The phrases in this session are found in the New Testament.
"Salt of the Earth"- this is found in the New Testament.
Matthew 5:13
"Don't cast your pearls before swine."- this is found in the New Testament.
Matthew 7:6
"The straight and narrow."- this is found in the New Testament.
Matthew 7:14
"A wolf in sheep's clothing."- this is found in the New Testament.
Matthew 7:15
"The blind leading the blind."- this is found in the New Testament.
Matthew 15:14
WOW! Matthew has quite a few!
"The good Samaritan."- this is found in the New Testament.
Luke 10:30-37
"The powers that be."- this is found in the New Testament.
Romans 13:1
"All things to all men."- this is found in the New Testament.
1 Corinthians 9:22
"A thorn in the flesh."- this is found in the New Testament.
2 Corinthians 12:3
Why don't you take the time to look up these phrases, which Jesus Himself used, and see why they were so appropriate.
