Did you know what the 7 prophets in the Old Testament did? Well, lets get our Bible and paper and pen and find out!
Sometimes the Old Testament prophets were thought of as being a little strange. But, their love and devotion for God knew NO boundries!
1 - Nathan- Nathan rebuked King David for committing adultry with Bathsheba
2 Samuel 12
2 - Elijah- Elijah confronted, and defeated, the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel
1 Kings 18
3 - Elisha- Elisha condemned King Ahab for killing Naboth and for taking his vineyard
1 Kings 21
4 - Isaiah- Against all odds, Isaiah predicted the retreat of Assyrain troops
2 Kings 19
5 - Jeremiah- Jeremiah was imprisioned for predicting the fall of Jerusalem
Jeremiah 31 - 38
6 - Daniel- Daniel intpreted King Nebuchadnezzar's dreams.
Daniel 2, 4
7 - Amos- Amos condemned people for exploting the poor
Amos 8
These 7 prophets words were very brave and so was their actions in what they did. Do you think they set an example for us today?
