God Gave the Blessings

The wind outside is blowing.
I hear the rustling of the trees.
In the distance, little birds are singing.
On the highway cars and trucks passing.
And, around the corner
Those beautiful church bells ringing.

Children at the school yard happy and free.
Playing and having a good time.
And, everyone can see.
Elderly folks taking their walks,
With a smile in the gentle breeze.
Just taking life one day at a time,
Living life easy as it can be.

We sure are a blessed people,
If we could just see.
I know God sure does love you,
And I know He loves me.
Our source of strength, comfort and love.
He's there.
