How do You Really Feel?
Please read Lamentations 3:1-26
There is so much meat to chew on in these verses! (we'll continue on with the rest of the chapter next week)
First Jeremiah is crying out from his pain. He is truthful before God about his innermost feelings. Are there times when you feel you can't tell God how you really feel? Are there times when you're, maybe ashamed of your thoughts/feelings? - IT IS OKAY!!! OUR LORD SEES, KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS!!! As you long to hear the truth from those you love so that you will be able to help them through, so it is with our Father. Go ahead and let Him hear it from your own lips, from you heart.
The passage goes on - Jeremiah is encouraging himself of his "hope" the fact that it is the Lord Who is FOREVER FAITHFUL. That as he calls upon Him and His awesome mercies, fully seeking His guidance, that all will be well - even if for a time there is suffering.
Let us take this week to take an honest evaluation of our thoughts, feelings, hopes, dreams, even your hurts, losses, rejections, broken dreams, etc. Write them down, then crawl up on your DADDY's lap, and have a time of honest sharing with Him. Then fully trust in Him, remembering His faithfulness of the past, and thanking Him for helping you through this time.
