There is a Message in a Gospel Song

As the wind outside is blowing And the dark clouds move across the sky,
I think of how bright heaven will be
In the "sweet by and by"

We sing songs like "They're Holding up the Ladder,"
"Sea Walker," "Come Morning" and "Sweet Buelah Land."
But, do we take them to heart; the message within them;
Our daily walk with Christ to stand?

A "Holy Annointing" just like Moses spoke about
Can be for us today if we believe and just reach out.
See, today, is no different than way back years ago.
"The Forth Man is Still in the Fire," "We are Never Alone."

"The Lord Can Send a Moses" to lead us out.
Aren't you glad we have the "Lighthouse," a refuge to help us out?
"I know a Man Who Can," one who really does care.
"He's God on the Mountain," our burden to share, our cross to bear.

His "Love Covers all Sin." He loves that broken heart.
He puts life back together with a new start.
He is "The God that Cannot Fail."
"Turn to Jesus." We must prevail.
