My Job

Jobs are hard to come by
In this world in which we live.
The rush of everyone's life
Makes it hard for some to give.

I'm thankful for my work
That I do each night and day.
And the people that I work for
Make me appreciate my life even more today.

There's Deb at the office with her great big smile.
The secretaries and lawyers working hard in style.
There's Judy, C.C., Mrs. Hiatt and Tammy at Jonesboro.,br> These folks are important in our town and a part of our big world.

Then, last but not least, are my friends, Mary and Brad,
The ones who have helped and encouraged me,
Even when things looked bad.
They were the first to hire me and gave me hope to look ahead.

So, to all the people I've mentioned above and others yet to come,
To you I extend appreciation and love.
