Lord, I pray right now that you will help ________ to set a guard over his/her mouth, and keep watch over the door of his/her lips. (Ps.141: 3). I pray, Lord, that You would give him/her strength to speak blessing over him/herself and not curses, for, Lord, we know that Life and Death are in the power of the tongue (Pr.18: 21), and I pray that the power of blessing would over take ______ tongue and his/her thought life. Help him/her to dwell on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things (Phil 4:8). Lord, I break every word curse and generational curses that have been spoken over ________ in the area of food or weight. Lord we pray a spirit of victory over him/her, for we know that we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. Lord, we pray self-control over his/her appetite. We say to ________ flesh that you will not have your way. We speak to ________ spirit and say, "spirit of might rise up in Jesus name". Lord I pray right now that You would turn that addiction for earthly food into spiritual food. I pray, Jesus, that he/she would be so hungry for You, and Your presence, that he/she would not even remember food except when TRUE hunger kicks in. I plead the blood of Jesus over his/her appetite. Lord, You said that we over came the enemy by the blood of the lamb, the word of our testimony, and that we did not love our lives even unto death. My prayer Lord Jesus is that ________ addiction to food is under the blood, that his/her testimony is "That I can do all things through Christ Jesus that strengthens me." (Phil 4:13) and that You would crucify her flesh to the point that he/she can not hear it scream for food. In Jesus name, Amen
