Broccoli Casserole
2 pkgs. frozen chopped broccoli
1 cup mayonnaise (not sandwich spread...it gives it a different taste completely)
1 tsp. dried onion flakes**
2 Cups shredded cheddar cheese
French-fried onions for garnish
Cook the broccoli according to direction and drain well. In a 2 qt. casserole, mix together the broccoli, soup, mayonnaise, onion flakes, and cheddar cheese. Top with the fried onions.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Notes:**
I’m allergic to mushrooms so I use Cream of Celery soup instead. Don't use Cream of Broccoli soup, it makes the flavor too strong.
Also, I love onions so I use more than 1 tsp. of dried onion flakes
