The vision He has given us is ever so much greater than anything we could imagine on our own. We see The Refuge Center as safe haven for the youth of our community. A place they can come to and receive assistance with homework, learn of the unconditional love of Jesus Christ, be fed through the hearing The Word as well as establishing good Christian relationships. A place where the hungry can come and be fed spiritually as well as physically. A place where all people are welcome with open hearts and open arms, regardless of their station in life or religious background. A place where there is in-depth teaching of God's Holy Word and a great place for good Christian Fellowship. A place for families to come and hook up with other families in Christian love and support.

DeWayne - I got saved 22 years ago and I'm always doing in-depth study of God's Word through going back into the Greek and Hebrew to discover the true meaning of The Word. The more I study, the more I desire to study. The closer my relationship with Christ is and the stronger my walk is. I believe in teaching The Word boldly with nothing added or pulled out of context. I became an ordained minister in 2006.

Sue - I came to know Jesus as my personal Savior in 1997, and I have taught Sunday School, Nursery, and volunteer my services to The Lord in many areas such as visitation, cooking, serving, cleaning, card ministry and calling, distributed food, provided transportation and generally help to be "Jesus" to whomever The Lord sends my way. I am currently "Minister of Helps and Children's Ministry" at The Kings-Highway Refuge Center.
Karin - I came to know Jesus as my personal Savior on April 22, 1970. There have been numerous Bible Study Courses throughout the years through various places. I have attended courses in Biblical Counseling and received my diploma. I also have a diploma of Pastoral Ministries through Evangel School of Ministry in Chicago, IL, becoming an ordained minister shortly after. The areas of ministry I've been involved in are Children's Church, Women's Ministry, Sunday School (all ages, over the years), Music Ministry, Missions (at home and Mexico), VBS, drama, preaching and singing. * Deb and I have been ministry partners for over 8 years and have helped establish two churches in the Philippines. We both love to write and some of our studies and devotionals have been used overseas in the Philippines, India and Haiti. We love to hold Women's Retreat and Women's Bible Studies. It is my greatest desire to help people to learn who they are in Christ and who He IS in them! Learning to apply God's word to their daily life and walk in victory.
Deb - I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior in 1979, and have been quite active in His work ever since. I have traveled singing gospel music over the years, and have been youth minister, children's minister, am a home-based missionary to India and have been involved with women's ministry for many years. It is my greatest desire to show God's unconditional love to all whom God sends my way. I am currently ministering at The Kings-Highway Refuge Center as Youth Minister, Minister of Music, Missions and head of Joseph's Storehouse. I have had several of schooling through various Ministry Schools - Florida (St. Petersburg) School of The Bible, as well as a number of other Bible Study College courses, I graduated from Living by Faith Ministries in 2006 with a 99.8 average. I love to study God's Word and share it with others. * Karin and I have been ministry partners for over 8 years and have helped establish two churches in the Philippines. We both love to write and some of our studies and devotionals have been used overseas in the Philippines, India and Haiti. We love to hold Women's Retreat and Women's Bible Studies.
