A Season of Mourning - Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 Dear ones, we are as a nation, as a member of the human race, as God's children, in a season of mourning this week. Our hearts go out to those who have been directly involved with this tragic episode in Colorado, but let us not become harsh judges, or angry debaters - NO - let us raise our hearts, our voices, mingled with our anger, sorrow and, yes, our fears to the One who IS love. The One who is ever more sorrowful than we, ever much more angry - oh, brothers and sisters, let this season of mourning become a season of intercession!!! Raise your voice to the Father. Interceed on behalf of our young ones, so misguided, so lost, so hungry for acceptance. Let us pray for workers for this harvest field that is ever so ripe! We can not, we must not, use our voices against one another in blame and possible solutions! The ONLY solution is Jesus!! Today, April 22, is my 29th Re-Birth day celebration. I came to Jesus back during another season of young people searching for answers. Dear ones, let us pray as we have never prayed before, and then, let us get involved in reaching out to this lost and dying generation. Let us also, with the Lord's love and compassion, reach out and comfort those who mourn.
