Wise Words to Live By

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken . . . probably more than once, and it's harder each and every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You'll fight with your best friend.

You'll fight with your spouse.

You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.

You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So . . . take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never have loved before.

Don't treat someone bad, or leave mad. Especially with those you love; that kiss you didn't give, or wouldn't take. That hug your child wanted to give, even though they were wrong, but you wouldn't take. They walked away with sagging shoulders and tears in both eyes . . . that could very easily have been the last . . . for many it has.

Words . . . spoken . . . only a moment . . . but, it can destroy a heart for a lifetime.

If you love the one you married, and the children God gave you, make sure you tell them often, but not only with the words you speak but with actions from your heart.

If you make a mistake and say something harsh don't let it linger on and on. Be wise enough to say I'm sorry. For every sixty seconds you spend upset, or someone else does, is a minute of happiness you and them will never get back.
