Prayer - Lesson 1

Below we have six prayer examples. What I would like us to do is answer each question from what we remember from our own studies over the years, or even way back from our Sunday School lessons as a child. Then let us answer once again, after looking up the passages, listed below. Okay, are you ready for some fun?

1. Who asked the Lord for "a discerning heart"?

6. Jabez - (I must admit, this is one of my favorite prayers in the Bible - next to Jesus prayer in John 17, which we will go into in another lesson) This, too, is shared with us in an unusual way. Explain:
